About Realtor Josey
I was born in Taiwan, moved to the US in 1980’s and earned a MA degree in Translation. I speak both English and Chinese Mandarin.
I got the Real Estate License since 2002. I cover Santa Rosa, Cloverdale and Ukiah, along the Highway101 up to Willits. Mainly Ukiah valley where I currently dwell.
Buying and selling real estate is always a task to most people. It is not as easy as ‘I pay you money, and you give me the title.’ If it is so easy, there is no space for title company, real estate broker and agent.
The license only allows us to do the service within the scope, but the agent has to embrace with the market trend, current national & local economy.
I also wish I have a crystal ball, telling buyers ‘The price will go up, buy it now to increase the equity.’ and telling sellers: ‘Price is declining, sell before it is too late!’ Probably we all wish we have this capacity.
Regardless how the market fluctuates,
1. as a home buyer, think ‘My family will enjoy this place and when we become empty nesters, we have sufficient equity.’ ; 2. as an investor, think: ‘I can make 5% ~7% out of this property, it is good; and when the housing market slides down, as long as I hold on it, I don’t lose money.’
3. as a seller, look what is the next step in your life. Probably it is about time to take care of your health more than worry about your multi-units properties. Or, listen to your kids and become their neighbor.
Take easy and we walk on the journey together! Be happy to be your real estate agent, boh commercial and residential.
